| We started off the morning with some snorkeling
at the beach in front of our hotel. Woohoo, the water is COLD! This
ain't St. John. We did see some cool fish and Valerie spotted an
octopus hiding in some coral. |
| For lunch, we had authentic Hawaiian food at the
buffet at
Cary and Eddie's Hideaway. We sampled Chicken Lau Lau,
Beef Luau, Teriyaki Chicken, Kalua Pig & Cabbage, Chicken Long Rice,
Bean-less Chili, Lomi Lomi Salmon. We did skip the poi (which was
labeled "butter") |
| After lunch we drove around and looked for manju.
On our quest we drove past the Maui Red Cross chapter which appears
to double as a karaoke bar. |

Manju Quest. |

The water is a crisp 74 degrees! That's chilly, even for Hawaii. We only managed to stay in for an hour. Valerie was covered in goosebumps and Ron was running short of breath. |
