Today we rested.
We didn't feel like snorkeling (that darn cold water) and thought we'd try it tomorrow morning before we leave for the airport. So, we hung out on our patio until late morning then went south to check out the lava fields and look for a geocache to deposit a travelbug.
We perused a couple souvenir shops, stopped at Starbucks, and had lunch at the Tiki Lounge (they have great Portuguese sausage!)
We hung out at the poolside cabanas where Valerie cried (she finished reading "The Art of Racing in the Rain").
Dinner with a sunset view was at Mala's restaurant where we had $20 Kobe Beef cheeseburgers and local draft beer.

The lava rock must be too difficult to dig through so the phone cable is just layed on top

Not much to look at but they have great Portuguese sausage
